  • Largest Tires on Stock Festiva

    Hi everyone,

I recently got a Festiva and need some better tires for winter up here in Michigan. I've been searching through posts and have yet to find the largest size tire I can fit on a stock Festiva. Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks in advance,
    Bruce

you wont find too much for 12 inch tires, but if you can find a set of 13" rims with the festiva bolt pattern (or switch to aspire brakes and use aspire rims) you can run a 175/80r13 (17/70r13 might be easier to find, i had to special order tires that tall) like i did last winter here in minnesota... with those tires i had a ton of ground clearance... and plus that they are tall and skinny (great for snow)

you might be able to find blizzaks in that size... either way best and cheapest bet is to go with 13's... long as you dont have a TON of weight on the back the 175/80r13's will NEVER rub!

this pic is from BEFORE i pulled my lowering springs out for the winter! look at the ground clearance!

Exactly what I was looking for...thanks a ton!
What cars might I look at for the 13" 4-bolt matching pattern in salvage yards?

Hyundai Excel 13 X 5" alloys will fit.

Also, I believe older (pre-'90) Mada 323 wheels are in that pattern. Look at our fitment guide at the top sticky to see more.

Well, I can now see why everyone swaps for the Aspire suspension. If nothing else, it's a TON easier to get tires ... Thanks for everyone's help. Looks like I'll have to start looking for the parts.
