Youre going to have to accept that you are NOT going to be able to put together some type of package to get a better price. MAN up and pay the price youre being quoted for them seperately.

I think what Monsoons trying to say is to get the correct tire to gear ratio you will be putting the "wrong" sized tires on the rims for that car - I'm currently shopping for wheels for my aspire swap and none of the tire/wheel sites like the fact that your ordering the wrong tire for your vehicle application type - even though infact if you've done your homework you know that it is the correct tire combo

For an example I'm wanting to retain the stock spedo ratio and use 13" 4x100mm (aspire rims) however if I shop by vehicle the site will not let me put the tires I need to to maintain the correct ratio (165/65/13) on the festy because the site knows that a 165/80/13 (least thats what I think it is) tire should go on the aspire to maintain its correct ratio.
What I had to do was shop by rim and lug size and then shop by tire size with out entering a vehicle.

Now if you want to retain the stock brakes and hubs with out doing the aspire swap you will want to shop buy a 4x114.3mm lug size rims in what ever size you want (Horseplays is a 14)

This is the Homework thread that will help you purchase the correct tires:

You got it Ft! Its sucks for us that there isnt a better selection of tires and rims that would allow us to do packages. But its the price we pay to be unique!

I just wanted a low profile style tire in 14 inch to cover that ugly empty spot between tire

Honestly now with all you guys info..... price if not an issue

thats why I liked 25 horseplay size..... but would like a other style rim

as long as its 14 inch 4x114.3 it will fit right? 195-45-14 seems to me like low profile style

sorry I am new to all this and might frustrate a few guys on here

Its my fourth festiva and always ran the stock size wheels and tires

If your stock then 4x114.3mm is the size you need - you will just have to play with the tire size calculator thats in the thread I linked - remember the 165/70 is the optional tire size most festys had the 145's but the 165's will give you a correct reading on the spedo.
the two websites I found to be the most helpful were
www.onlinetire.com and www.americastire.com online tire I found actually has the rare size tires we need and I found americas tire had the most options when searching by lug and rim size - tirerack is hit and miss and when I looked into avalibility on my tires they couldnt get them till mid feb - online tires had them in stock and the other size I was looking for they could get in 3 days

Rob, NO! Miata wheels will NOT fit a stock Festiva.

                                Stock Festy = 4 X 114.3mm bolt pattern.

                                Aspire conversion hubs = 4 X 100mm bolt pattern.

                                Stock Festy tires were:

                                145/80-12

                                165/70-12

                                Stock Festy wheels were:

                                12 X 4.0" base

                                12 X 4.5" upgrade

                                12 X 4.5" alloy

Most of us run 155/80-12s these days because the stock sizes are harder to get and usually cost a bit more.

Stock Aspire tire size was 165/70-13.

                                Stock Aspire wheels were:

                                13 X 4.5" steel

                                13 X 4.5" alloy

Most folks now go to 175/70-13 or 155/80-13, which are about the same diameter.
