  • kw variant 2 mk3 vw coilovers

My freind Cam from CWS did some vw suspension in his fastiva and it rode and drove great. So I have been on the look out for some vw coilovers for cheap.
Found a set that a freind had that he gave to me for free. My kinda price. There was almost no modification required except for ovalling the strut mount holes and the installation was easy as pie. Besides having a little too much spring rate the car drives and handles great....especially with my 205/50 15 advan ao32r road race tires on it.
If you guys can find a set they work great....also fk or jom coilovers would work and you can get them for around 550.00cdn.
Just another thought on suspension for our cars.

years? I'm not familiar with VW products. (I'm guessing others here aren't either)

KW v2Mk3 is jibberish to me.

OK, so from what I gather, it's '93-'01 Golf/Jetta in the US, A3 platform.

KW is an aftermarket suspension manufacturer, and v2 is the second generation of coilovers for the A3 platform.

            Is that correct?

Look up jom coilovers, fk coilovers and vogtland coilovers for a more cost effective replacement to kw.

do you have any pictures of them on your car? And/or the modification you had to do to get them to fit?

Yep. I'd love to see them bolted up. As well, seeing the bored holes would be nice as well.
