    need some tire recomendations

    i need two tires that will fit on a 15" rim. low profile. i would like at least a 205 wide but a 225 wide would be nice! more importantly, it needs to be low profile lol so i dont need to cut my fenders.

    traction is a huge issue so im leaning towards high performance summer tires. i would like something as close to drag radials as possible but i think drag radials will wear out too fast driving around here. i also dont want to spend over $150 a tire, but i am willing to buy used ones if they are a good deal.

    The Generals are supposed to be a pretty nice tire and the price doesnt seem too horrible.

              Ghost, I think the C, they'd look good on there. Overall diameter not much diff. than the 155/80/12 that are stock. I have 195/60/14 on mine. I'll have to check, but the 225/45/15 may be a smaller outer dia. than mine.

              EDIT:

              155/80/12 =21.8 inch o.d.(stock Festiva)

              225/45/15 =23.0 inch o.d.(ventus rs3's)

              195/60/14 =23.2 inch o.d.(my present tire)

              yea that 15" is smaller than my 14's!

                maybe for most festivas. but 11's arent gonna come on my 175/65 generals

                  11's aren't easy.....not matter what tire. I run a 195/50/15 and it rubs like crazy.....

                  Good luck with the tires..... and look at the guys running 12's ....they are on full slicks.

                  You'll never see 11's or 12's on street tires or with stock suspension.

                      you dont think i can get into the 12's with street tires?

                      i know 11's are out of the question lol
