  • just trying to get straight facts about brakes

i want to do the capri swap in the front to retain my 4x114.3 lug pattern

does it need to be xr2? are they identical to 323 gtx?

and will the capri/323 hubs connect to the stock festy axles?

if so, do you think this is possible?

Both xr2 and na capri brakes /knuckles will work.

And yes they will connect to the axles.

Some will tell you that you must use aspire lower control arms but I'm not 100% sure of why.

Some have had problems with axles binding with the festiva control arms iirc.

Let us know how this works. I have a set of capri knuckles.....I gotta try this.

Mine is real low too and the camber is way off. I don't care tho as long as it's fast and goes straight.

yeah, axle bind is why you need the aspire LCAs. i had Scrappy running without them but the trans was making noise while going straight (not good).

Some of the Capri's alegedly came with 9.36" rotors(I couldnt find one), seems like most came with 10.2" rotors.

I would say the non turbo ones most likely came with smaller brakes, probably the autotragic ones.
