  • oppinions needed on spring length

so i am doing the DIY coilovers using KYB GR2 struts, sleeve's, tophats, and 2.5" i.d. coil springs. in the article for these it says he used 10" springs all the way around and if 8" springs were used in the back the car would be able to sit level using 4" sleeves. i want a little more drop than just an inch or so, so i was thinking using 8" springs all the way around with 4" sleeves in the rear and 6" sleeves up front. this would allow me to get the full drop out of the back and adjust the fronts to match. but my question is would an 8" spring in the front be too short? i know that i'll be losing some overall travel but if it's not excessive than it should be fine. oppinions?
