  • Brake fluid bleeding preferences on Aspire swap

Please state your brake bleeding preferences in totally replacing all fluid on an Aspire swap. My fluid is old and I want to replace it all when I do my Aspire suspension swap. I have four new rubber hoses so I may as well drain the whole thing out while I'm at it.

I have a little bleeder bottle somewhere, but it seems cheap and tiny and I wonder if there is a better way.

I saw several kits at Harbor Freight that looked promising. Most were "vacuum kits" that did other things, too. Anyone use these?

With two people available, how is the old glass mason jar and clear plastic piping? Good enough? My Dad will probably be helping.

    Thanks,

    Karl

I bought a vacuum bleeder and it worked fine. The hard part is getting a good seal around the bleeder with the vacuum hose.

    Try making thishttp://www.bmw-m.net/TechProc/bleeder.htm
