Aspire front wheel bearing replacement ?'s

I am stuck midway thru my aspire brake swap, again.

The drivers side hub will turn by hand but does not spin freely.
So I am thinking of replacing both sides.

Anyone have experience with this?
I also read about somebody having a guide worked up with some "preload" information.
