  • 88-91 CRX 13" rims - will they fit?

I'm looking at picking up a set of 1988-91 Honda CRX 13" rims.... will these fit the my stock 1992 festiva? I'm thinking no?

I believe the Honda CRX has a bolt pattern of 4x100?

    Stock festiva is 4x114.3?
    Aspire is 4x100?

I keep reading conflicting info online....... hoping one of the masters on here can help me out.

I bought one set of rims already that fit, and was told they were 13" rims.... well, my tires dont' fit, come to find out they are 14" rims..... sooooooo, are there any tires out there that will fit my 14" rims and NOT rub without doing a suspension upgrade?

I've got a stiffer lowered festy and I've run 205/60/14. 205/65/14. 195/60/14. 185/60/13. As long as u stay below a 65 series u should be ok. I found that the stiffer suspension helps a lot my friend runs 185/65/14 and has just cut aspire springs and he rubs if there are 3 people in the car so just keep in mind if u plan on weight that u will most likley rub depending on suspension.

Honda wheels are a 4x100 bolt pattern so unless you do an aspire brake swap they wont work.

Do you think if I run 175/65/R14 tires with a stock Festiva suspension I should be ok? I really only plan on having myself and maybe my wife in the car..... It is more of a commuter car.

205/65/14, as someone suggested, is a 16% larger diameter tire than stock (also 41% wider). Stock brakes will not like that very much, and you risk losing them when you need them the most. I would upgrade to at least Aspire brakes is you are going to put tires larger than 5%. Good luck!

I've had my festy up to 130mph with the 195/60/14 falken azenis tires I had to test the speed rating!( took a while lol ) and didn't have any brake fade before I did the aspire swap. But the aspire brakes are far superior to the festivas.... huge improvment on brake performance!

175/65R14 works well without rubbing, assuming the offset is the same as stock. For 13s I loved my 205/60s, but I did have to roll the fenders a bit. 185/60R13s work sell without rubbing (but they are harder and harder to find), and also 175/70R13 (factory CRX 13" tires) are a good choice for a festie, used those many times.
                  No festiva for me ATM...
