I have hood struts on my car. They are originally for a first generation VW Rabbit and used existing bolt holes. Check out the photos in the Fastivaca folder in the Album section.

Methinks Sneak's talking about suspension struts.

ops: saw "hond" struts in the title and my tired brain thought "hood" ops: It had been a long day :?

There have been a couple of mentions in past threads of VW front and rear struts being adaptable to our beloved Festivas.
