Your car reminds me of lightening Mcqueen off of that movie "Cars". The second pictures looks like your car is saying "Kapow!!"

The car looks great. How do you like the new escort console now that you have had it for a bit?

Just a question: What does the aspire shock swap acheive? Are they shorter/longer or stiffer or something? Ride height? Are the springs the main difference?

Springs are 200 lbs stiffer. If you just want better ride quality switch to aspire shocks...if you want more braking power do the brake swap as well. I love the new center console...have done another one for a buddy too...he loves it.

I've seen several people do this swap, some with variants to how much they cut up either festy console or escort console or BOTH. and not always the cleanest. +1 here and good score on the color along with your seat covers.

what console did you use to have the two bin tray under the stereo? cuz it doesn't look like festy. lol. and yours looks really stock! very nice work

When I got my festy someone had fabricated the shelves alreay into the stock console and they did a good job. So I just worked with that. Thanks. I thought about painting it but now I wont.

Any axle or alignment issues with not cutting the springs?

200 lbs stiffer then you cut out an inch of spring.Thats going to make the spring even stiffer(less coils = stiffer spring) Probablly like 350 lbs ?
Cant I put the Aspire Hub/rotor/control arm on for the better braking. And use my festy KYB G2's with my stock springs. Ive already lightend up the front end by @ 100 lbs. So I dont want springs that are going to hammer my ca rdriving over rail road tracks & pot holes. Both of which I have waaaaay to many in my neck of the woods
