Someone told me CRX springs are way too short and you might be riding on bump stops

Sounds like a minimum of 7" from what I have been reading?

I'm trying to find the thread someone told me about it. I'm not completely positive but I believe that's what it said. If you are reading otherwise, then I say go for it!

If that's the typical eBay Honda kit, the spring rates are waaaay to stiff for a Festiva. The rest of the kit is probably usable, but you need to get softer springs.

I would make sure to ask if those are aluminum top hats, etc. No cheap plastic parts.

Basically the adjusters are what a fellow needs and then try to find springs at the 100 lb and 150 lb rate. I am going to keep looking till I find a kit like that.
Yes "Safety Guy" I really do not want plastic pieces.

                        Some one will sell them?

every single kit i have encountered has aluminum top hats, plastic top hats would mean lawsuits

I wouldnt say the civic springs are to hard for a festiva, depending on what you want

what do you want to get out of the coilovers? do you just want to lower the stance for looks as a daily driver? or are you planning to autox/track the car?

I would email all those vendors and see if they stock any various springs. I hate buying from several people, you pay more with shipping that way.

Chrisofna up in Canada just got a set of coil overs with PLASTIC tophats. Check this thread out:

Apparently he lost a dispute with the ebay seller on the issue.

I mentioned them above since I recall Nate (Skeeter) saying something about them being sold by some sellers and to make sure of all the materials before buying.
