So I see an ad for a set of 13x5.5 mags on Cl.
I tell them if they are as described I will pay the asking price of $125 if they will hold them till after work, they respond with a text saying ok and an address.
Ad said 4 nice aluminum mags with caps and tires 1 tire great, 2 ok and 1 bad.
Works for me, I get there and find all 4 tires beyond the wear bars, 3 center caps and enough brake dust on the front of the wheels to make multiple brake pads, the backsides had enough cv boot grease build up to lube a semi for a year. plus a few scratches and what not.
I look close for any major damage, none.
Tell them not even close to as described, will give you $40 bucks for all 4.
end up getting them for $75.
3 degreasings, pressure washing and a bunch of hand scrubbing later I have:
