    Camber Plates Round 2...

Not totally satisfied with the first install I bought another pair. This time for a 02-07WRX.

    02-07' WRX Plates as Delivered

Bolted both together ensuring any modification would be equal on both sides.

Traced on the original Festiva strut mount. Then simply cut along the lines and drilled
an extra hole on the far end.

    Installed!

And I will say handling is dramatically improved. Been out to the track a few times since
the install. The extra camber has helped tremendously with cornering and the pillow ball
mounts give such a direct feel to the steering.

Looks good! Do you know how it affected caster?

I couldn't say how much but I know it increased positive caster by at least a few degrees.
This is a good thing as it helps the outside tire gain negative camber during cornering. I
can also say it has not affected steering effort in any significant way (Probably due to the
                Festiva being so light).

So...If i used aspire control arms and bought these...advantage or headache?
REmember i have had 2 aspires and still have axles sway bars and stuff i cant even give away. Would love to implement into my 1993 since it's front end is shot to heck anyway.

The control arms don't really have anything to do with the upper strut mounts so I'll say
neither advantage nor headache. The main thing is these are made to be used with
coil-overs and would probably not work at all with a OEM spring or FMS spring. Also using
a stock strut you would need spacers to fit inside the bushings so the strut rod doesn't
rattle around. In my case I had to drill out the bushings (not easy as they are grade 8
steel) and use a grinder to shave about 1/10th of an inch off a step that is built into the
Mirage AGX struts I am running. I didn't bother taking pictures of this because I think I
am the only person running these so it is completely unique to my setup.

Remember this is not in anyway bolt-on, depending on your strut, springs, coil-over
top-hats, or some other factor any number of mods might have to be done. The point is
that it can be done for less than $100 and a bit of time in the garage.

Necessity is indeed the mother of invention.

Oh that's the thing. I plan to toss on some It coilovers new kybs. Aspire control arms are slightly longer adding negative camber. With something adjustable this could fix it or dial it in to be either useful or just to save tiress not that they cost as much as 17" on other cars

Nice job on the adaptation. What kinda Struts r you running with these? I'm wondering if these may work with the raceland/rokkor coilovers.
