I picked up a set of aluminium aspire rims will these work on a festiva if i us 1" wheel adapters?

yes, but the wheels will probaply rub the fenders from being pushed out so much. try to find thiner adapters.Trees aren't kind to me...

^uuuhhh NO, those adapters are perfectly safe if installed properly, nothing wrong with them at all, the ones you worry about are the floating spacers that take threads away from the working area of the bolts/studs.Trees aren't kind to me...
