So what?
For really conspicious consumption and wasteful money whoring, I would go with gold plated oil filters and wheel trim rings.
You'd throw away the oil filter every season when you changed it out (with a new gold plated one, of course) and you'd have to replace your gold trim rings every time you let your car sit somewhere by itself for more than five minutes. Then (of course, to show how rich you are), you'd replace them with your small stock kept in your trunk, and replenish that store from your bank vault when necessary (like, every week or so, depending on how ostentatiously rich you want to be).
Oh! I almost forgot the gold plated, diamond encrusted oil pickup tube hidden away in the bottom of your engine. Just because you can...
