  • kia rio rear springs

I was wondering if anybody's ever tried to use the rear springs off the KIA on an aspire or festy, I took the front struts, and the new springs up front glide over stuff while the rear still kinda feels like its hitting a brick wall. Thinking about snagging those rear struts and swapping springs in my 94 aspire..can anyone confirm they're compaible with stock struts?

Dont think so but get another set of front springs and use them in the rear.

Brad are they larger diameter? If they are the same diameter as stock springs I would think they should work.

EDIT: Upon further research the rear RIO appears to have an odd normal shock setup. and will probably not work. Perhaps try using your stock front springs in the rear?

Aspire FRONT springs in the rear!
I'm thinking of going stiffer than what i've got now, Aspire struts/springs all around. In all the discusions i've seen, not to many mention this set-up:
        Front:
        Rio front struts/springs
        Rear:
Aspire rear struts with Aspire front springs. That 'ill stiffen 'er up!

I've looked at Rio rear springs and they are probably not compatible. Totally different setup back there. You should be able to see when you look at them at the 'yard.
