  • How To Lower Brake&Clutch Pedal?

    My brake and clutch pedals seem very high and it makes heal-and-toe a horror. I even injured myself once with the pedals. I just want to make it lower like normal cars. Is it possible to adjust em? How?

    last time i was under there i dont believe theres any adjustability as they slide onto a shaft that mounts solidly in one spot.

    You may be able to swap the pedals out from an escort or other car that had a taller footwell, however they would need to be converted to run a cable trans instead of a push pin for a slave cyl.

    Other possibility would be cut/weld them to where you prefer.

    you must have pretty small feet i take it? my pops has a size 8 mens and no issues, my mother a womens 6. i luck out with a mens 12 and have problems driving cars with pedals close to the centerwell like fiero's

      I guess there is no possibility of getting it like EK low easily huh? I guess I'll have to live with it. Regarding the injury, I wore flip flops that time cause I went to the beach. My foot hit a piece of plastic when I let go of the clutch pedal. The pedal is just too damn high. I wear size men's US 10 BTW... : ) There's a 5 inch gap from the gas pedal to the brake pedal.

        strange, i guess ive never noticed them being quite that far apart.

              9.5r here and never an issue with a heal/toe shift. then angain, your driving on the wrong side of the car.... :p

                  I'm from the Philippines, we have the steering on the left side just like the US. And yeah, the flipflops and no shirt is sorta the norm get-up here when you drive around town to slack-off.
