you should be alright, he has a decent feedback score. 98% out of 1000 buyers is not bad at all.

The only problem I've ever had with ordering ebay overseas (i do it a lot) was once I didn't get some silly-cone hoses that I ordered and because ebay closes the auction for dispute so fast now, I couldnt go through ebay to dispute that I hadn't received my item. However, I contacted the seller via e-mail and they very politely (in the typical broken Engrish) sent me some new sillly-cone elbows. I got the replacements quickly and about 2 weeks later I received the original purchased silly-cone elbows. I'd also like to note that the elbows were lost in my local international U.S. mail facility (according to their tracking system) and not in the 12 third world countries it went through to get to me. Go figure!
yes dude! lol, if this ends up working, we'll be the Replicator brothers. (looks like the real deal, and expensive, from far away. But get closer, it's Asian-made.) lol

But in all seriousness, i hope this fits amazingly. Because, if so, all you fellow Festiholics can grab one!

Just some thoughts.... Don't know if this means anything or not.

But correct me if I'm wrong..
The Kia "new pride" is essentially a Kia Rio (2005+?). I thought South Korea called the Rio's New Pride.

Those two ebay listings are for Kia New Prides.

I hope you're wrong about that. but now going back and looking at the related material associated with the search i did, there's a lot of rio stuff showing up...:/

If this ends up in a bummer, I'll have a new Kia RIO bar for SALE

^^thats why I first posted saying its not likely gunna be a "bolt-on" part, I'm sure it'll work with modifications though

              1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
              1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Scrolling down on that page tells me, this entire thread was a waste. The vehicle pictured with those coilovers installed is a RIO. geyyyyyy.

                (is this mixing threads?:
Anyone wanna buy a new Kia Rio Strut bar when i get it in the mail?) lol

The rio and festiva strut tops are the same width apart. It may mean relocating the mounting holes unless it's for a 2002 and earlier car which should bolt up.

Since the ebay ads are for New Prides they should be the 2005 and on Rio's

^ ....and isnt it the 2000-2002 Rio's that are the same strut mounts as the Festy? Not the 2005 on up?
I have 2002 Rio struts, and they bolt right on

The Rio was known overseas as the "New Pride." So yes, they are probably for Rios, but maybe they'll fit. I think there's a good chance the side to side dimension is the same or very very close. Now the question is whether they are for the two hole struts or the three holers. My guess is the three holers. Might be an easy mod. Might not.

I was talking to Gauge_Half_Inch and he thought possibly the 2005+ rio with the 3 hole strut actually has the same mounting points as the 2002 but with an odd ball 3rd mount. Meaning the 2002 strut holes should fit fine with the 2005, but with just an extra hole. Hopefully!

Has anyone tried this universal one from Autozone?

wasn't aware of that universal one, but i found that same one on
                              Amazon for cheaper...

i'm gonna grab that one too(since i already got the ebay one), and
see which is better (performance-wise) cause i think they'll both work.

So, it came in. Doesn't even come close to fitting and it's a really crappy part. I can use the crossbar to make one though, it's very light and appears to be 6061. Lesson learned.
