Know one has stepped forward to give me the exact length of the XR2 intermediate shaft. So I cant tell you the exact combined length yet. All I know is that member Shadetree says they fit fine. And I trust him that the Rio axles end up being correct. It makes sense considering that the Rio is loosely based off the Aspire platform. And the Rio uses a G series case with what appears to be a F series diff.

It depends what trans you use.

@Russian, yes, I have both driver and passenger side Rio axels on kiazord right now, I had to trim a little off the block plate to let the passenger axel be able to rotate, but it works up and down (fully compressed and decompressed struts with no springs) with no binding that I can tell.
Thanks for the props Zoom, make sure you stand the axle on its end (Input) and compress. Then while you have your tape measure on the table next to the shaft measure all the way up to the flat that would butt up against the race. I know "Personally" that the Festy/Aspire measurements are dead nuts on. And if you dont need the abs ring you can just knock it off with a punch.

^ no, I haven't, would probably be the same path as the stock axel.

Measurements were taken from the where the seal on the transmission would be, out to the seal on the hub, with both axels COMPLETELY compressed and straight. For the measurements above to be right, they measured from tip to tip, from the extreme ends of the axels, completely compressed.

They're also the same thickness. The Rio axel looked thicker, but it's not, I think they were 7/8" thick but don't quote me on that. Both are 26 spline inner/24 spline outter

Did you actually install this? Does it clear whatever it should clear?

    Man, quite a website.

It says there were Festivas in Japan with .81 5th gear transmissions.

    I need one!

    And JDM experts out there?

All the specifications your heart could desire

[quote=nonamekid;500966] Axle data is easy to acquire, track width is a little harder.

I found a new source for track width, drive ratios, all the specifications your heart could desire.
Car Specs Database of hundreds of thousands cars with detailed specifications, technical data and performance data. ProfessCars simulation of car accelerations in road conditions. For each car info on top speed, acceleration times 0-60 mph, 0-100 km/h, 1/4-mile times, detailed photo.

They claim they will soon have all cars worldwide since 1945

    searchable car database

I found this site that has track length for many cars, just not all cars.
Car specifications catalogue, listing of all manufacturers in the world. Classic and new automobile models specifications listed, including sports cars, supercars, antique cars, electric cars, vintage cars and mundane runabouts. All data is fully searchable and sortable. You can find the fastest cars, heaviest cars, most fuel efficient cars and more. Detailed specification sheets include dimensions, performance, fuel economy, emissions data
