I had my car up on jackstands this afternoon to replace the e-brake, which snapped, and observed that the rear wheels didn't spin freely (lots of drag) when I turned them. This was before the e-brake was connected, so it wasn't that. When I first bought the car, the e-brake actuators were frozen to the drum, but the mechanic was able to loosen them up. Could it be that they're seizing up again? What should I do if this is the case? Pull another set of drums and calipres from a junker?
