I can't remember which are front and back? There is a taller spring with more coils and a shorter one with less coils. Which is which?? I was thinking the taller one is rear but not sure.............................

IIRC, mine actually had "front" and "rear" printed on them in white. It was very hard to see, even on brand new springs.

I knew I went through the same thing......
Found my old thread where I actually posted which was marked front and rear..

Discuss improvements to your Festiva or Aspire in the handling, braking, wheels and tires areas.

well if that's the case, why does Scrappy bottom out so easily with just one person in the rear? (note: according to the thread, i have the springs on backward, stiffer in the rear).

If I knew you needed pics I could have got them last weekend.
I have a pair for the rear as I only installed the front and I liked it that way.
So I have a pair of never installed rear FMS springs to get pics and show the markings.

Rear springs should be thinner diameter in cross section.
