What size? I believe they are 15 x 5.5" rims. The wheels will fit but chance are that the tires that are on the EGT won't.

I have a set of 15s from a 93 EGT I was going to run. With he stock Escort tires they wont fit right. but with a set of 195 45 15s they are still very close. Too close for my comfort so I went with a st of Mazda Miata 14in wheels with 195 45 14s

The rims will bolt to the aspire hubs but I would think the tires will rub. Get some 195/45/15's and they should fit.

                rims

thanks, just for the hell of it, does $100 sound like a fair price for all the parts to swap the suspension?

                  That seems fair.

Make sure you grab the park brake cable, they are different than the festiva's. Also grab the spare, you need a 4x100 donut.

I had 5-6 hours in mine complete. That included new springs and struts. If you reuse your festiva struts and springs and leave them in you can save a little time. It also included bleeding the brakes and getting the rear park brake levers freed up and installing the park brake cable.

My first time took three weeks.

My second time took several days, since I kept encountering problems: bad brake assemblies, loosened captive nut inside my car body (to the left axle bracket), nonsliding caliper sliders, etc.

For some reason, it was a nightmare. All the problems were different ones from my first swap, too! Just my luck.

When I do my third one (on Twinstiva, later this summer), I should have everything covered and be able to do it in one day.

                          Matt's fast.
                          I'm slow.
You should be somewhere in between.

My first swap took me about 6 hours to do. That was my first time having the suspension apart on a Festiva too.
