Yeah, double check your sway bar to body bushings, there probably worn or loose, i used to have that issue a long time ago.

I once had that from a bad strut mount, maybe something else to check?

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I think you have a worn hard part, not a bushing. I would check, ball joints, tie rods inner/outer & rack gears. I had same issue & suspected the bushings @ the front swar bar. It ended up being hard parts. I have 185k on the stock front bushings. And the car is now rock solid at full Rabbit in 5th gear.(as opposed to full turtle) You know like the little icons on your lawn mower throttle...

Yes sounds like a dry bound up Ball joint or outer tie rod. The reason I dont think its your front bushings. Is beacause you said nothing about hitting speed bumps or road cracks straight on...Or driving over some rough surfaces. Usually you'll get a loud nosie(Rattle) from them.Especially if you had so much wear. That it allows the sway bar/lower control arm assembly to float around.
Its all speculation till you get the front end in the air & physically/visually inspect your components. You could very well be right. But you cant be for sure till you give the whole front end a good look.

it shifts when hitting pot holes too... lca's are 4 months old.outer and innner tie rods are 6 months old, rack is 3 months since i took it apart cleaned/inspected installed.

Excellent sounds like you got it narrowed down then. You not getting any BANG/RATTLE when you hit a pot hole? Has this been an ongoing problem that slowly has worsened? Or did it start after your last track session? Jus wondering if you cracked a lca attach bolt.Or Cracked the lca torque box spot welds from the hard launches you do? Just hate to see you do the front bushing fab.And then still have the problem.

Just weld the whole front end solid, no more lift during hard launches! ..or not, just saying...

lol... just bought some universal 1" poly sway bar bushings and modded them to fit. seems alot stiffer. noticed my drivers side sway bar to chassis bushings was torn in half when i took it out.

both lca bolts tighten and loosen and hold torque. ill check the spot welds... i need to do some seem stitching before the cracks from my strut towers to my firewall get any worse. the front end is slowly separating from the rest...

Sounds like you got it dialed in. Are you the one that made rear budhings using a cordless drill as a lathe? Cant remember, but those looked pretty sweet. Are you running a front strut tower brace? Did ya snap any pics of the bushing's you modded for the front?
