  • How much should we pay for Rio Struts/springs?

Just called a junkyard by my house and they have Rio struts/springs available. I thought the original guy quoted $50 for both but today some other guy said its probably for one. So if it is $100 for both, is that a fair price? Its about the same on Egay, without shipping so I may just buy them after some input.

I gave 50 for both of mine, but they said 80 to start and I talked him down. As long as theyre in good shape its my opinion they're well worth it and then some.

Tell them you'll do 120 for the struts and steering knuckles (with calipers) lol..then sell the knuckles and calipers.

^ Yea, you gotta keep in mind, in your neck of the woods, how many Kia Rio's are still out there, and how many kia rio owners do you think frequent junk yards, and when do you think the next Kia Rio owner will have a busted strut and need OEM replacements from that particular junk yard? It's not like they're in high demand

Complete Rio assemblies from pnp were $120. That included everything from the strut mount to the brake lines and calipers. Only thing we were missing were the wheel bolts.

I paid $40 for a pair of struts springs and mounts had to go to the ghetto in detroit to get them though.

You guys have to remember, there's junkyard prices, where they pull "the stuff" for you, and then there's when you pull them off. When you pull the stuff, you always realize lower priceing.
