  • installed stock cut civic

i took the prelude springs off and cut a set of stock civic springs on and they are awwwwwweeeeeessssoooommmmmmeee! im serious it is the perfect ride for a lowered car. the pic im my tag was with cut stock festy springs and my car is slightly lower than that now but rides awesome. i have drove all around york to the places i know there are terable road conditions to see how it goes and im super impressed! plus it stays pretty even to the ground when i take off and turns with little lean. the springs are progressive so you get the benifit of a good smooth ride but the springs stiffen up when compressed.they are supper sweet. ill take arty for a ride to confirm my claims

Im pretty sure they are off the 92-95 but I'm making sure 100% with the guy I bought them from. I cut like 4 coils off and flattened 1 again I'll make sure 100% and take pics sorry about that. I'm buying some more sets to from him 1 for my bp and some others to cut and sell to anyone who doesn't fell like making them, I could get them powder coated as well by my friend.

My wheels are 14x6 but they are for a rwd stock datsun 510 so I think they are like a zero offset (hard to stuff under the car) had to roll and pucker the fenders out pretty good hence the reason I needed good springs that wouldn't bottom out and hasn't my tires scrape my fenders or splash guards. The wheels are masha so I has to get some lug studs and mag lugs which I don't like at all.

Forgot to say the tire size, I had to get 165 60 14. Not gonna find them at your local tire place gotta order them online. I needed a tire that wouldn't bulge past the edge of the wheel. I already mess up 2 tires changing my springs do many times and not getting a proper alignment just trying to wait till I got the ride i wanted

I will get pics mon because I left the leftover coils at work where I cut them. Also if you do this don't forget to flatten the top coil so they sit flat

yours looks awesome in green :thumbleft:
My cd5stiva has modified (about 7 coils on the front and 6 on the rear) stock springs, rides so rough, had to change my tires from 165-65-13 to 145-70-13 because of rubbing issue. I'm excited to try your mod
                              Thanks for sharing man! Cheers!
