Here are my 195/45/14 Falkens that I got. You can also go to the Tire section and look at the thread I had started looking for tire help here. Below is the end result. I will try to get some better tomorrow since the shadow is kinda distracting.

Toyo Proxes in 195/45-14 is rated around 180 or 200 treadwear, which will indeed wear more quickly than normal, which is usually over 320 and up. Get those if you absolutely want the best grip in dry conditions, as they are a summer tire too.

The Falkens in this size are all seasons so you can run them longer before and after winter, or during winter if you don't get much snow. They have a higher treadwear rating and should last awhile.

When I ran my 175/60-13 Falkens on my front end I really liked them. They seemed to have loads of grip, which is not too surprising given that I was comparing them to junkyard takeoff 175/70-13s.

          YO...Runner.

I have the same Capri rims that Mental has on his Festiva. I'll be taking one off the rear today to address a wheel bearing issue. He and I have the stock Festiva hubs.

I ask'd you your Mazda 14" rims....I suspect they have the wrong bolt pattern. You need 4on114mm for the stock hubs. I bet you have 4on100mm.

It comes down to wheel offset and tire diameter. But you have to have the correct wheels, too.

Stay tune for some pics of 175/65/14s on Capri rims, stock Festiva hubs.
