  • Dual bolt pattern question

I have the opportunity. To pick up a set of dual bolt pattern 14 inch rims with kumho tires off a civic. What are the chances the other bolt pattern fits my stock festiva? It would be nice to have the time to do a rio front Brake swap without doing the rear aspire at the same time.

Most of the rims that have dual bolt pattern are 4x100 and 4x114.3 so you should be set to go as long as the back spacing is right for our cars.

Any idea on the back spacing on a 14 x 6 I would need to check for?

Just keep in mind that while many of the dual pattern wheels will be aspire and festy as the two patterns, there are also some out there which are 4x100 and 4x108. Might want to measure or test fit before buying it possible. Also, a lot of the wheels will be stamped on the backside with what the two patterns are, if so that will make things a little easier
        No festiva for me ATM...

Measure the lug holes diagonally, the two farthest apart. If the big pattern is 114.3mm and the smaller pattern is 100mm, buy them.

The rear off-set can be about 120mm before the tires rub the Festiva trailing arm. Tire rub on the strut depends on the tire diameter and width.

Measure the rear offset by putting a straight edge across the rim. Since the tires are mounted, take a straight edge (piece of wood, whatever) that is less than 14" long. Lay it across and measure down to the rear hub surface. If it's greater than 120mm, plan on using spacers.

Yep. The AR Estrellas I have in 13 X 5.5" are dual pattern with 4 X 100mm that I use for my Aspire swap cars and 4 X 108 that I can't use.

However, oddly enough, the 14 X 6" Estrellas that I've seen still being sold have both bolt patterns we need on our Festivas and Aspires.

Before you buy, ask the seller or check it out yourself. Take a ruler and compare with your car before buying.
