I am new to the Forum and have some questions about the Minni Lite rims. I have a 89 Festy with original tire and wheel combination. Does Minni Lite make a rim that will fit my 89 Festy? I think they are a really cool looking rim. Also is there any other sources for new rims for the Festys? I would like to upgrade to Aspire Brakes front and back. I know this will change the size of tire and rim combination I can run on the car. I'm really not interested in a real low profile tire. I live in Alaska and and the junk yards are fare and few between, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many, many other wheels will fit the Festiva bolt pattern and another bunch the Aspite pattern. Tons of info on this site, you should have days worth of reading! Do a search on this exact part of the forum and enjoy.

I will see what I can do. I'm working in Deadhorse Ak on the North Slope (if you every watched the Alaska version of Ice Road truckers you have seen where I work) and I wont be back home until 4 Jun. I will try and get my son to send some pics.

My Festy will be a summer car for the most part. I due have studded tires and I have driven it in the winter in the past. However, I want to add new bumbers that will be lower than the stock (I think) and I don't want to mess them up with the snow. I'm planning on change the entire interior to black and paint the car some sort of burnt orange like the Dodge trucks and I reall like the Black Minilites on it.

From what I hear having a good stock of spare windshields and lights is essential on many of your 3/4" minus-type gravel roads.
