Bought some 1995 14" miata wheels with 185/60/14 tires. They fit very well in the front. The rear is pretty close to the strut spring perch, about 1/4"-3/8" clearance. Here are a few pics. Still can't get it on the ground yet. I need to get studs for the front wheels, the lug bolts are too short.

Yep, those are the "old style" wheels. Guess they made them at least up until '95. I love the Minilite style, although they are seven spoke instead of Minilite/Panasport 8 spoke.
Size is 14 X 5.5" and I believe they are supposed to be just under 12 pounds each.
That's what I want to put on Luxstiva, my '93GL, at least for winter, if I can't get smaller diameter tires.
Thanks for sharing your fitment details, Matt!

Yep, that's what I thought. He said they were '95s though, so I figured I was wrong.

Well I've driven the car with these wheels and 185/60/14 tires around the block a few times. Still no windshield so no long drives. Hit a few potholes and did a few sharp turns, they rub the front fenders. Thinking of getting a smaller tire. I really like the wheels but I'll be driving this car everywhere and don't want the hassle of avoiding every bump and taking it easy around the turns. They are also close in the back and I'm sure at some time or another I'll have a passenger in the back seat and then they may rub. I'm looking at 165/65/14's.

Matt... I'll tell you one thing, theres a reason I took my backseat out! With the 185/60R14s, the rear tires would rub over big bumps, even without people in the back seat. I'm thinking of putting the seat back in now though, the new springs are a bit stiffer.* Retired Festiva-er*
