I swaped my mc awhile ago for an Escort one & love it. Now I'm thinkin' about a Aspire booster swap. Has anyone done this, & are there any problems/mods for fit? What is your oppenion of the upgrade, is it worth it? I'm Not ready for a full Aspire suspension swap yet (money & place to work on it). I'll do that in the future.

I've ran them in a few of mine, better pedal feel and overall the brakes seemed more responisve.
Might do this to my new festy today actually.-93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.

The brake line coming from the master cyl to the brake proportioning junction block. On the stock festiva master both lines come out the side but on the aspire the front one comes out the top, you can see what I'm talking about in my pic. That was a FMS strut brace, I believe also I used the vac line from the aspire as well.-93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.

Okay, I've already installed the master cylinder from a 1993 Escort, I'm gonna keep it. Its larger than the Aspire one. Its all in, I was just cureious abort the Break Booster. I'll get the vac. hose to. Thanks.Last edited by navdoc101; 05-19-2012, 10:59 AM.

Unless the 'yard brake line is extra nice looking and easy to pull, I'd just get the appropriate length new line with both ends done for you and bend it to fit.
Our brake lines are getting old! My plan is always to replace with new when possible. There are stories about lines "popping." Brake lines can corrode from the inside out, too! Few people change brake fluid every two years (or every four years, for that matter!).
Better safe than sorry.
