  • Painted my wheels with bed liner, not so good

Just kidding, thought the title would catch your attention. I spent the last two days cleaning, prepping and painting the factory 12's. I think it looks so cool now. I used 500 degree primer and 500 degree engine paint, gloss black and a can of clear coat spray. Two coats of primer, three coats of black paint, and three coats of clear for protection. Once it dries completely, maybe two or three weeks, I'll buff them out with my Macguier's potions.

I also started on one half of the engine bay, its hard to paint with a huge engine still in the bay. I also remounted the battery longitudinally for much more room. Thanks to PU241, I had to remove the battery to clean up the parking lamp relay. I then experimented with another piece of 1x4 which made it sit perfectly in the bay for the new mounting set up.
