  • Pimp da'Funk - Rims

So my '87 Mazda 121 Funtop is stationary for the moment, and it will need new tyres to pass the blue slip inspection.

Now rather than buying new 12 inches (Rare, Relatively Expensive, oh and did i say they were 12"" ? )

It turns out to be cheaper to get 13 inch mags (No one wants them they all upgrade blah blah) and tyres.

I am not out to make my car 'HOT' but rather 'FunKy', it's going to be a sleeper and engine wise i am trying to decide on displacement but it prob won't be DOHC to keep it sleepy to cops too (although it may be 16v)

The two sets of 13" Mags i got are:

    '83 Mazda RX7

    '83 KB S FORD LASER

    Side by Side

Both rims are as old as i am so they have scuff marks and what not... i do intend to give it a light polish but i want to keep them scruffy as not to attract attention and be plain deceptive.

So which one do you think fit's my car more?

go with a mazda rims. IMHO the Laser rims look like the arse end of a drunk Frenchie

Hehe. I also prefer the RX7 rims. Are they the same width and weight? You might want to go with the lighter rims.

I think the RX7 ones would attract less attention, too.
