  • Lower control arm brace installed..

Let me know what ya think.. Worthwhile? Is there any interest in making more of these? If there is I'll look into how much they would be to reproduce. -Kyle

Looks great. Have you had any ground clearance issues with it installed?

No I haven't but I don't drive the car everyday now since I have my '99 Galant. But the lowest I could measure to the ground was 3.25" which is still not bad considering it's not the front bumper it's right by the tire so if you hit something the tire has to react as well.. The only problem I could forsee is possibly something in the middle of the road and you have to drive over it.. -Kyle

That looks perfect for a track car, but I'd be afraid of clearance issues in the "real world." It's just an inch or so too low for my tastes.

However, if you used two smaller diameter bars (side by side) and kept it as shallow as possible, it wouldn't stick down so far.

You can't see in the pictures but the exhaust is only a 1/8" to possibly a 1/4" above the bar. There would be no room to move it up. As it is the bar is only 3/4" much smaller and you wouldn't get enough structural support from it to be worthwhile. Even in the pic that was shown previously, hung down very close to if not more than mine. Here's the link: http://festy.hp.infoseek.co.jp/festiva/l_arm/7.jpg -Kyle

I see. Yep, there are definitely limitations!

I think it looks great. I would definitely e interested in one for my car if they were to be made and sold
