  • Troll Stance Festiva

    Hey all,

Been awhile since my first post, thought i would give you lot an update and also hopefully get some problems cleared up.

Have just purchase some 4x114.3 14" 1995 Honda Accord Steelies, Mission this weekend is to start widening them.

Want to widen them to 8",

Problems that i can see with this in the future will be as following,

    1. Rolling the guards

    2. Possibly have to pull them out abit.

    3. Try find some flares that will fit/look good.

Also what lowering springs are a good option on stock shocks for a festy (1993 Ford Festiva 1.3xl)

I have had a lot of people giving me crap for doing this.

But as suggested in the title, it's for a laugh/stick it to the others who say Festivas can't look sick.

    Any help/knowledge is much appreciated.

    Jimbo,
    New Zealand

Please watch the language, I edited your post this time, but next maybe an official warning

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Sorry mate, thought some characters were sufficient. Won't do it again.

You'll probably want flares. The "look" you're going for won't be achievable with lowering springs unless you want it to ride like poo/scrub tire everywhere.

Flares are the option i've been opting towards, finding flares that fit in New Zealand is proving quite a challenge tho. I'm going to be lowing it, the challenge is to find away around the rubbing. I'm really not too fused about ride quality as this is a cheap muck around car and not my main project.

Jimbo, check out Ghost's car and Neanderpaul's car. They both got their fenders from a chap in England. Good price too!

I plan on doing the same thing to my new shell that's getting my turbo cars heart. My plan is 225/45/15 on the front daily and the 205/50/15s on the back that I'm running now just on wider rims. I will have to get really good at pulling to make them clear, I may just have to make a steel flair and graft it in. I'll be watching where this leads to for inspiration.
Im not driving a Festiva because I'm poor. I drive a Festiva because i want to!

Nice, i think they look pretty sweet slammed out.

Im stretching some 175-50-14 onto 8"

Nice size stretch in my opinion.
