  • My Festiva Suspension Mods.

Hey Guys, this is my festiva. Im a low buck kinda guy, and i really dont want to put any money into my festiva, so Iam making everything I do to this car.. so far I have made a lower rear "Tow-Bar" it Mounts between the rear strut bolts.. it really stiffened up the rear end.. Iam in the process of making an Adjustable Front Strut Tower Brace.

heres a few pics of my festiva and my mod..

    Well, what do ya think?

I like it! I think I may have to do that same thing! I also have the Aspire rear beam... But the concept is the same. I also made a Lower Control Arm brace for the front end that you can check out in a post not far below this.. And yes the front strut tower brace makes the car feel alot better as well. I like your strategy! BTW, my first Festiva had that exact color scheme (brick red w/silver accent). -Kyle

Reb i would be very carefully about not ripping that control arm off by hitting a curb or some thing (rock?). because if that thing doesn't brake it will bend the swing arm mounts or brake the bolt (both which would be very bad when driving). I would be careful with the rear too.

Other than that looks like nice work. I have been trying to think of a method for a front strut mount.

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

That car is looks so clean underneath... I wish we had cars like that up here... we don't because "they" think it's a good idea to pour tonnes of salt on the roads in the winter.
