  • 15in Wheel Options

Lots of universal 4 bolt pattern 15in wheel options on this site. Decent prices for new wheels shipped. Not sure how many would fit, but DriveOne posted a link to a set and I found all these others on the same site.

    Pick up a set, man!

    WHEEL AND TIRE CALCULATOR:

Stock tire size is 145/80 12. Stock wheel offset is 40. Plug this in and check your wheel choice to see if it will fit. There are other calculators as well.

tire size will be relevent too. I was thinking something like a 165/45/15 or a 165/50/15. I'm not sure what the real advantage would be to a 15 on the festiva, though. More unsprung weight and fewer tire choices, and the ride would be poorer. I have a set of 15" alloys off escort GT that I'd trade for 12 or 13" alloys to fit my festiva. The escort wheels wouldn't fit unless you had an aspire hub swap though.

The weight of the wheels and tires is sometimes the same or less than stock. Tire choices are extremely limited, however, that's the case with all tires available for the Festiva, in almost any size. 15" wheels have a larger contact patch than a 12" wheel, and so offer better handling and braking. No, you don't float like you would on a 155/70 13, but they don't hinder performance, either. That's in the suspension's realm of things. If you really do want to trade, I'm sure putting a WTT up will attract immediate attention.
