So are the top hats from eBay ( solid aluminum) a good alternative to the kia Rio top hats for a power steering-ish upgrade?

^ those are upper spring perches, not the top hats that come from the rio (which have the perch integrated to them).Trees aren't kind to me...

One thing to be said for Rio top hats is they're cheap when you scavenge them from a u-pull. Just make sure the bearings are still in good shape (ie hidden with grease).Comment
