  • Tie rod end question...

What year of Escort GT tie rod ends do I need for an Aspire brake swap?

Very surprised to discover the Aspire ends were almost $40 on Rockauto compared to under $10 for the Escort!

Search isn't helping on my phone

I'd go with '94 Escort. All tie rod ends from that generation of Escort, both GT and regular, should work. If in doubt, go to Rockauto and match part numbers. You will see most are the same.

I'd just order tie rod ends from a '93 Escort. They'll work.

Note: I'd spend more than $10 each. Spend at least $16 each. Seriously, consider the quality. You should have several price point choices.

You don't want to end up with a tie rod end like this:
      You gonna race that thing?

Can't go wrong with Moog (which have grease fittings)! But which one: Festy or Escort?
