Mazda brake swap question

Hello all,

Has anyone considered and/or researched swapping the front brakes from and early Mazda 323 into a Festiva? I like my Mazda alloys and would like to maintain the stock bolt pattern.

I've looked at a few at the JY before. They definitely aren't a direct bolt on, but it might be possible with a bit of fabrication and welding. IIRC the brake line fittings and everything are the same, but the control arms and everything are different. Hope that helps at least a little.

No festiva for me ATM...
