Need Rio brake help/advice

I installed the Rio brakes on the front of my car last weekend. I am having camber issues. The front wheels are like this now: \ /
I have not changed out the struts.

Parts:
Used - (early) Rio knuckles and discs/calipers
New - Rio tie rod ends
New - Festiva Lower control arm assemblies
New - Rio brake hoses

I installed the tie rods ends to the same place the original festiva rod ends were installed.

Loosen the strut to knuckle bolts, push in REALLY hard right there at the joint where the bolts are, and tighten down the bolts. Also you'll have to roll the car back and .forth after you drop.it.on the.ground to.get.everything.to sit right.

I've been driving it to work for a few days now. Love the easy steering, hate that it's not right. Just finished changing the passenger CV axle, tried to adjust the strut bolts, it's just too far out. Maybe some camber bolts will fix it? I plan to take it to an alignment specialist this week, if I get the chance.

When I did Aqua it was like that but the alignment shop did the trick.

However, you are using Rio knuckles, which have a slightly different tie rod extension measurement than Festiva or Aspire knuckles, so you can't use the Festiva tie rod end places. They won't line up. I'm guessing the alignment shop should be able to overcome this.

When I did the Aspire swap I had to switch back to the Festy LCAs because of the same castor/camber issues you have. Which LCAs are you using?

I had same issues. And installed aspire LCAs. And for future reference if you put in a bigger engine you will also need aspire cv axles.

Also EGT tie rod ends.

I am also experiencing a pretty good jolt (thud), when going over bumps, mainly with the right wheel, it seems. Is this because the alignment is s far out?

i had that it is the tie rod ends so far out. escort gt tie rod ends fixes that.

Are the EGT tie rod ends that much different than the Rio I have on the car now?

Don't know but they are longer than stock ones.

And it will make that noise if they are not secured all the way.

I thought Aspire swap = Aspire Tie Rod Ends, and Festy LCA's?
