Did you see the problem the Formula 1 teams were having in England this morning with their Pirellis ??

Lots of tire separation where the sidewall meets the tread, Pirelli better fix that quick because its a huge safety issue. They mentioned that last year they were using Kevlar belts in the tire.

F1 has had tire issues since it's inception. The tires need to be light, but able to withstand 10,000 lbs of downforce while spinning at an amazing rate and oh yeah, cornering. The technology is outstanding in that sport.
