Gabriel Ultras or KYB GR-2s?

Planning on changing the struts on all four corners.

I am going for ride comfort here, and I have heard the GR-2s are typically 15% more firm then OEM, but I wanted to hear from people on this forum what they think is best for a Festy for comfort.

I can get all four Gabriel Ultras from Autozone with my discount for roughly $140.

Or I can order all four KYB GR-2s from Rockauto for $164 shipped.

You can also eBay the KYB's for a buck fitty shipped. I done it a couple times.

I just want to know what would give a more comfortable ride.

TE check with Carquest on the KYB's if you have a local one, I got mine there for my blue car and they were reasonably priced. Plus, I bought Rio's for the front and Festivas for the rear.
I can't comment on the ride as I'm still in assembly mode. Plus, it has 175 pound 10" coilovers on the front and 125 pound on the rear,

I will only put KYBs on my cars (compared to Monroes). The KYBs are a little firmer but not harsh, and do much better on bumps, railroad tracks, etc. Monroes do not have enough damping. Gabriels I have no experience with, sorry.

The kybs I had on my aspire last time were great.
A little stiff when lowered with bigger rims.
But when I sold the car I put steelies back on
and it was very comfortable ride.
Very smooth.

Granted the aspire weighs at bit more making the ride less stiff than it would be on a festiva
