Has anyone ever put 1996 Mazda Miata M Edition 15" Enkei rims on? From what i have found they are 6 in wide, and have a0 offset and are 14.5 lbs. I know i would need spacers if that's the case. Just wondering if anyone has done it yet.

a "0" offset on 6" wide rims would require fender flares, not spacers.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

I see in my head how that would work. It would have super clearance for the suspension parts but at the cost of being pushed outside the car farther

      Thank you.

Stock Miata wheels would not be "0" offset; they'd be either +40 or +45mm. Go check miata.net wheel sizes to make sure.

          Thanks karl

          I went to a miata website http://www.miata.net/faq/wheel_weights.html

Its missing the offset though. What you say makes sense. They do look like they have apositive offset. All the wheels around it have a + 45 so i bet this one does too.

Ill just offer the guy 100 instead of 150 cause im not sure if they will fit.

They should fit with 195/45-15 tires. With 195/50s or larger, I don't know. You might get rubbing on the fender edges like I do with 175/70-13s.

He says they are a 38.1 offset but he raised the price.

I need to get new tires either way. What one are you referring to? I also wonder if the center willbe large enough to accommodate the aspire hub.

I was thinking of bargaining points.

                    3rd pic, bottom right.

Those tires are too tall, especially the 195/60. Also, I question the "38.1mm" offset. "Point one," really? Never seen a fraction of an offset measurement before! It should be 40 or 45mm, though I suppose it's possible an M Edition had some special 38mm offset wheels. Just ain't heard of any.

165-45 15 tires fit perfectly on 15x6 wheels and give you almost the same final drive ratio as stock festiva wheels and no change in fuel mileage. They are also pretty cheap from the ebay seller out of Moreno Valley CA.

                              Charlie,

You are the reason i have been looking for15x6! I was going to get those tires as you suggested in your other thread. Seeing them next to each other, the stock Festy wheel looks a tad bit bigger.

Ive been waiting for this opportunity so i can finish my aspire front brake swap. Next step, get someone to machine the4x100 pattern on a set if drums for me.
