    Anyone ever use braided lines?
I figure if I'm going to relocate stuff I might as well make it look pretty.

Do you like em, do you hate them?
    Have you relocate?

Best deals or places to buy from?

I have them. I bought them from festivamotorsports.com
They are worth it. They make the pedal very firm. They are available for Prides.

thanks brave that's a big help and a good start for me.
I gotta measure and see what length I need to run from the junction to the actual fitting on the hub.

I was thinking about relocating the junction from the firewall to either underneath the car or just over by the rear trans mount

If you want to make your own teflon lined stainless flex hose lines, be sure to check out Earl's and Aeroquip. You will need to know the thread sizes for the bleeder screws and brake line connectors. Be sure to use -3 AN fittings and hose. Good luck.

For an Aspire or Rio front brake swap, you could also use 2001 spec Rio front brake braided hoses. If you could order just the fronts, that would be nice. The rears...I have no clue, so you're on your own.

Note: The Festiva and Aspire/Rio banjo bolt fittings are different from one another. You could use the Festiva fittings on an Aspire caliper, but it would need bent or cut off to fit. I did this temporarily on AquaMutt until I got actual Rio front hoses to replace my Festiva lines which I had mis-ordered.

Another note: The Rio front hose is maybe 1/8" or so longer than an Aspire front hose. Essentially the same length. I'd order whichever is cheaper. For anyone interested, Escort front brake hoses may work too, but I haven't checked for sure. The banjo fitting should be the same, IIRC, as the calipers are nearly the same. Double check before using.

I tried installing an aftermarket Festiva front brake line on an Aspire caliper. The curved tang did not fit properly. It broke off after I tried to heat it and bend it to fit into the hole in the Aspire caliper. I discarded the rubber brake line. Lesson learned.

When I used Festiva hoses on my Aspire calipers, I just cut the banjo bolt extensions (curved tangs) off. I worried that they might slip around and come loose but they didn't. I think I had them on for a couple months before I redid my brakes and put on Rio hoses.

I'm still running Festiva hoses on Aspire/Rio calipers. Works fine. Cut the tang off too.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I weighed it in my mind for a minute...and cut the hard lines for the festiva. Im going to rerun new lines with Aspire flex lines.
