  • The most repeated question in the world

i think this has been covered but all i can find is bits and piece's every were. i want a relatively light weight wheel for my 91 festiva. I plan on putting aftermarket wheels and tires. I know I want 14 inch rim with 185\60r14 on them. I will be doing the aspire swap first then i will try to find those coil-overs for the right price. i want to know if this rim will fit http://www.tirerack.com/servlet/Call...filterSpecial= they are for a ford escort and have the right bolt patter (4-100) and maybe the right back spacing 38 +. will they rub with 185 \60 14's and will they work with the future coil-overs. or does anyone have a lighter cheaper wheel and tire that is known to fit. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Recheck your link to the wheels it's not working.

I had 185/60/14's and the rubbed. Try 195/45/14's. Toyo has them and I love mine.

i think that will work if not it is a wheel for a ford escort hatchback. 4-100 38 9.8 LBS 14" and is about 110 per rim. what wheels did you use and those toyo's will work on a rim "suggested" for a 185\60 14 or should i look for a wider wheel.

so less backspacing would cause the wheels to come out more how close are yours to the fender. also how close to the spring perches. what is more of a problem on our car Clarencing the front or the rear??

The rear has problems with spacing before the front. I have a set of miata alloys with 195/55/14 and I need 10mm spacers to keep the tires from rubbing on the spring perches. 195/45/14 fit just under the perch and don't need spacers.
