    Found these wheels pictured in the Tesla forums and was Wondering if anyone had seen these before?

    Yea theyve been around for years now just never saw them catch on. Dont know whythey haven't cause it seems like a great idea

      Efficient would go through the roof due to weight and maintenance wouldn't be any more than a regular air based tyre

          Looks ugly, probably can't handle side load (for handling) that well, but definitely a neat concept if they can get them to fully function like a normal tire

            I would think a revision to the bottom with the tread curved out and slightly raised to give the impression of the bottom 1/4 of the tyre to look like a tyre but the remaining 3/4 to he honeycombed so it allow for handling..

            The centrivical force of the tyre plus the revision I mentioned may allow the tyre to maintain its "strength"

            Is there any video of actual road testing of these tyres?
