  • Steering wheel off centre

I went over a pothole or something, and my steering wheel doesn't return to the exact centre where it used to be. It's turned slightly to the right when the wheels are straight. My alignment isn't off or anything.

Does anyone know why this is?

The obvious solution is to unbolt the tiller and move it a notch so it's centred, but that's not really solving the problem.

    Regards,

Get your alignment rechecked. Your car may be going straight, but the alignment can still be off, like if both wheels are turned inside or both wheels are turned outside.
