Miata Wheels on Festiva drums

Think I might have lost a post, Anyway here goes I am thinking about mounting Miata daisy wheels on re drilled Festiva drums. Charlie I know you have re drilled drums on your car and was wondering what your thoughts were on this since it would require machining the drum to accept the 54.1 Miata wheel center as the Festiva drum diameter is too large approx. 59.1 which is around 5.5 mm bigger

Here is what they will kook like on your festy. I've got aspire brake swap so didn't have to modify the bolt pattern, then installed studs for stronger/easier mounting.

Thanks this make me feel a whole lot better because I really don't want to use the Apire beam. Did you machine the wheel at all or just the drum.

Looks really good is it lowered at all. I had my rear shocks shortened and I have the vw front struts. Followed Charlie's insturctions and the machinist and welder did fantastic job. Once I get everything toghether I will put together pictures etc. But I have a lot going on right now

My original post should have read 59.6 and not 59.1 for the festiva center bore. If you do the math you would see that 5.5 mm would not be correct even though it is. I don't want to mislead any one or appear as though and can't add
