  • My car Hums.

My festiva hums when going in a straight line and turning right. but when i turn the wheel to the left it stops. It gets louder with speed. I've replaced the pass. side CV axle, fixing to replace drivers side. I know its not them humming but the boots are torn and they pop. It's probably alignment but better safe than sorry...

Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.

I would bet you are talking about a bad wheel bearing.. I noticed when one of mine went bad, turning one direction can lessen the noise but the other way not as well as the humming getting louder and louder with speed.. If you can hear it coming from a specific wheel I'd replace that wheel bearing. -Kyle
